Kansas 8-12-05 US50E

August 12, 2005. The first exposure taken at dawn west of Garden City, Kansas on US 50E, the last exposure southwest of Topeka, Kansas, early in the afternoon. It was here we arbitrarily assume we are near the eastern boundries of the great plains. Fuji S1Pro 70-300mm, auto exposure, manual or aperture priority, manual focus, hand held or tripod. 242 total exposures were made. Again, the horizontal layout is due for the most part to the ubiquitous power lines draping along one side of the road or the other. Unless they add something to the spirit of the image they are cropped. A reminder: the thumbnail images below are layed out in sequence as they were shot from left to right.
