OKWTXNM part1 8-05-05 I40W

August 5, 2005.The first exposures taken around noon of Oklahoma City on Interstate 40 west (I40W), through the panhandle of West Texas, the last in eastern New Mexico near sunset. Fuji S1Pro 70-300mm, auto exposure, manual or aperture priority, manual focus, hand held or tripod. 310 total exposures were made on the drive. The horizontal layout is due for the most part to the ubiquitous power lines draping along one side of the road or the other. Unless these add something to the spirit of the image they are cropped giving the panoramic effect to the composition.
